Arlington

Settled in 1635, the town of Arlington lies just northwest of Boston. Arlington’s history was a farming town that had grown lettuce for the local areas. Arlington was also known for its part it played in the ice industry with an ice house that was on Spy Pond up until the 1930’s.

Arlington today is a highly sought after town in the Boston area. With many public and private schools it makes for an ideal option for families. For commuters, it is a great location that offers public transport as well as ease in and out of Boston. The town offers plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options along with parks, ponds and historic sites.
